Our damara lambs are born and bred in north-east Victoria. They have been fully raised on grass and left on their mothers for up to 5 months. Living in a stress-free environment, the lambs are led onto fresh grass every 3 days as part of our cell grazing operation.
Famous for their distinctive fat tails – prized as a delicacy in many cultures – damara sheep are now being recognized for their succulent lean meat as well.
Limited opportunities exist for bulk purchase of wethers. Enquiries are encouraged from specialist butchers and meat suppliers who value the distinctive characteristics of the damara breed.
